Post Rock Motel and Restaurant

“Easy to reserve and owner called right back when I was checking on my reservation. Very economical- this is a basic motel…. Very dated, but clean. TV had many channels, there was microwave and a medium sized fridge. ( no coffee maker). Fair amount of towels and washcloths. Shower was floor level- so hard to keep a little water off the floor. Towels were clean- but a little threadbare. The water is very hard, and it’s hard to get suds from the soap. Bed was big and comfortable. The little restaurant is also very spartan, but the food is excellent and low cost. The upshot on this motel is- clean though dated. A good value, just not the Ritz. I’d stay there again while passing through. The gas station next to it has most everything else you’d need (coffee etc..)They have good pizza.”

“We visited about three years ago and was good, but now it is much improved. The owner/host makes you feel at home and treats you like his personal guest. The place has a retro feel and the rooms are one of the cleanest we have ever experienced. There is now a restaurant on site and the food and service is exceptional and the restaurant is spotless as well. If you are in Lincoln you must try the restaurant, if an overnight stay, I highly recommend this motel.”

“My second time returning to this motel and definitely would like to share experience. Got a room with 2 queen beds. Room looks and smells very nice, clean and quiet place. Checked in at 3:30 and was kinda hungry so I decided to give a chance to the restaurant and definitely did a right thing. Mostly it’s Indian cuisine but I was in the mood for burger and guess what it did hit the spot. Overall seems like nice family business that offers affordable prices.”

“This was a very well managed and clean hotel. Very attentive staff and spotless rooms. Will definitely stay again, hopefully under happier circumstances. Would highly recommend to anyone coming out for work or hunting trips or anything else!”

“I stayed here a few weeks on a jobsite. Nice quiet place, sweet ppl run it. I loved the restaurant, the steamed dumplings are the best I’ve ever had, I miss those things the most. She was the best cook and sweetest person ever”

“Fantastic Motel a bit off the beaten path. Rooms are very clean, and feel spacious. The manager is kind and accommodating - we drove all night moving across the country and he let us check in much earlier than the stated time. It will likely be a while before we take another trip, but would recommend a stay here to ANYONE travelling even remotely close by. It is worth the 20 minute detour we took to get here. And the next time we travel through this part of Kansas, we'll be sure to stay again.”

“Stayed here for work for a week. Room was all around clean, the floors could have been cleaner but over all it was clean and cozy. AC is cold sheets and towels bleached (to me that is always a good sign) the only thing I would downgrade is that the comforters need upgrading even something cheap from Amazon would work! Over all a good clean cold place to stay.”
